His reworking of ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’ by Kendrick Lamar has attracted more than 140,000 YouTube views since its upload in late November, and the overwhelming reception led to Joel releasing a free EP of covers in February, 'Between Kings Cross and Old Street', featuring the artist’s take on music ranging from Eagle Eye Cherry and Kings of Leon to Kanye West and Bob Marley.
