Forest Swords, aka Matthew Barnes, the enigmatic UK producer, releases his debut album 'Engravings' today thru Tri Angle.

Following his last venture three years ago with EP 'Dagger Paths', originally unveiled the second track from the album, 'Thor's Stone' in June, later uploading 'The Weight Of Gold' to accompany it; both tracks giving an essence of the otherworldly feel to be contained on the full album.

Uniquely blending jagged hip-hop, with chopped guitars, R&B beats, manipulated samples, with eerie vocal formations, 'Engravings' looks like it could be up there in.the 'Best Albums of 2013' list.
