The art of making a song can be as elaborate and technical as you like, and cost an exorbitant amount in the making; the same applying equally to a video. But no amount of visual brilliance can turn a poor song into something that shines on its own merits.
Brighton's The New Union, who recently unveiled the new video (directed by Sim Warren) to EP track 'Forget Again' have managed to make simple minimalism - in this case, just vocals and piano - a piece that stands upright in your senses after the first hearing. Shot in winter, there's enough chill to set your spine tingling.
