Following their single 'Nerve Endings, Leeds punk rock quintet Eagulls now unveil the B-side – a cover of post-punk heroes Killing Joke’s classic 'Requiem'.
Bursting at the seams with barely concealed bile and rage, 'Requiem' is a perfect match for Eagulls, and they turn this classic track into something darker and denser and no less resonant, whetting the appetite for what’s to come from the band in 2014.
In addition, after igniting the stages of festivals through the summer and a short burst of shows in September the band will be supporting like-minded Brooklyn compatriots Parquet Courts on their much anticipated UK tour later this month, along with a series of shows through Europe. Eagulls will also be playing key showcases at CMJ in New York, which runs from October 15-19.
