Dominic Wolf, is a London-based Swiss singer/songwriter who started writing acoustic songs as a side project to his band My World In Colour during the summer of 2011. That same year he recorded his debut EP, 'Anoesis', but not released digitally until April of last year. He is now working on a new EP which will be released early 2014.
His latest single is lo-fi acoustic - with an edge. 'Behind The Sun' (released last month) is a chilled, unhurried affair, using loop pedals to intensify the sound - and which places him somewhere in between James Blake and the acoustic nu-folk of the likes of Bon Iver or more recently, Sivu. Hang on past the opening chords, to where it then branches out into trippy, bouncy beats.
