Introducing :: The Savage Nomads
South London five-piece post-post-new wave outfit, who have fitted in nicely at a raft of recent London shows such as at Shacklewell Arms, The Garage and Tipsy's. They seem to have gone through something of a change, sound-wise recently, moving more towards hard and fast three-and-a-half minute catchy poppy songs. But for those who like something a little more meaty, then they can also pull out the big riffs and hit the notes of indie rock with the best of them. Either way, they have plenty of charisma to guarantee you'll never be bored watching this lot live.
The Savage Nomads play The Forge, Camden, tonight (October 12), followed by:
October
22 - Prince Albert, Brighton
23 - Upstairs at The Garage, London
November
01 - Amersham Arms, London
05 - Sebright Arms, London
20 - Notting Hill Arts Club, London
The Savage Nomads are: Cole Salewicz, vocals/guitar; Josh Miles, vocals/guitar; Rory Jones, bass/vocals; Benjy Miles, guitar/synth/percussion; Petr Matousek, drums.
