December 13 2013 - Hot Xmas 20 (Part 1)
AMBER RUN - HEAVEN
Latest single from the five-piece originally from Nottingham. They play the BBC Introducing Club NME Show on January 17 2014 at London's KOKO along with Beaty Heart.
GOOD GIRL AND THE BAD TIMES - CUTE WHEN I CRY
Brother/sister - Eli and Jenny Block - duo from London with the first in a series of EPs to be self-released on their own Good Bad Records, out December 9.
VAN ANDERS - ANOTHER ROAD
Something of a mystery is New York-based electro house DJ/producer Anthony Gerbino, about who nothing is known save for this track being one of a rather fine debut EP 'Wilde' collection, and sounding not too dissimilar from Liam O'Donnell.
VILLIERS - THE DANCER
Lancs three-piece who have been consistently good in the tracks they have released online this year. We make no apology for the inclusion of this latest short, but nonetheless captivating, latest.
TWO SKIES - STARS
Sheffield three-piece whose soaring psych influence here sounds like a cross between TOY and Exit Calm (a good thing).
PATTERNS - THIS HAZE
Manchester four-piece signed to Melodic Records. Taken from the 'Waking Lines' album to be released on January 6.
SATCHMODE - BEST INTENTIONS
LA dreampop duo Gabe Donnay and Adam Boukis release the second synth-rich track from their January 'Collide' EP.
SPECTRES - THE SKY OF ALL PLACES
A-side from the 7" single release due January on Too Pure from the Bristol noise rockers. Catch them on tour with Brighton's Tigerclub in early '14.
LOVATS - WHITE FIRE
Third offering from the electro-pop five-piece whom we first caught a taste of here back in April with their debut 'Over'. 'White Fire' is possibly their most assured to date.
BRAIDS - DECEMBER
The Canadian art-rocking three-piece from Calgary, Alberta returned with their second album, 'Flourish//Perish' back in August, from which this track comes.
