Cross Wires are a four-piece hailing from from East London and the Essex borders who formed in 2010, playing their first gig at The Others in Stoke Newington later that same year. To date they have released 3 EPs: 'Forward/Repeat' and 'Animal Heat' in 2011, and 'Dark Water' in 2012. The band now have a third - 'Assembly' - set for February 2014. You can stream two of the tracks 'I Wana Be Your Man (Again)' and 'Stranger's Bed' below.
While 'Stranger's Bed' dips into lo-fi, with catchy hooks and riffs and a pounding beat that runs throughout, 'I Want To Be Your Man (Again)' reveals a lighter refrain than its counterpart, but nonetheless chimes the signature CW beat and distinctive vocal.
