The closing track from their debut album released last year on Moshi Moshi), Fiction's new single 'The Apple' is a timely ode to British mathematician Alan Turing. The B-side live version features Serafina Steer.
The father of computer science, and an unsung hero of World War II, Alan Turing was later persecuted for his homosexuality and driven to suicide by an enforced programme of chemical castration. After a long campaign he was finally given a posthumous Royal pardon on December 24 2013, almost 60 years after his death.
