Originally from Devon and now London-based, five-piece Casitas, after winning the 2012 South West Music Award for Best Video with their experimental track ‘Places in Dreams’, now unveil a new song - 'Gold'.
Downloadable from iTunes from January 24, like its name suggests it is a golden little number, full of sunny tropical-indie pop charm.
Friends since schooldays, the idea of making music together was put on hold for three/four years during Casistas' university days, but since graduating and upping sticks to the wilds of Finsbury Park, they have been concentrating on writing new material = so keep them on your radar for further tracks and live dates.
Casitas are: Barney Bowles-Bray - Vocals/Keys; Jamie Lapraik - Bass; Ed Wilkinson - Drums; Felix Bush - Lead guitar; Jack Knox - Rhythm guitar.
