Brighton nu-wave pop Fickle Friends make their debut, kicking off 2014 with the glorious upbeat pop of 'Swim' which assails the eardrums with the drippingly gorgeous vocals of singer Natassja Shine, shimmering synths and lush guitar lines.
'Swim' recorded with James Earp (Bipolar Sunshine) having only been uploaded two days ago, has already racked up close on 7000 plays on Soundcloud, which for an unknown band, it has to be said, is pretty impressive.
The band play London's Camden Barfly on January 9.
