Etches Share 'The Charm Offensive' Visuals / Live Dates

Liverpool-based Etches have been causing quite a stir since they emerged late last year with their first demo ‘Let’s Move In’, picking up support from XFM (as John Kennedy’s ‘X-Posure Hot One’), Radio 1 and Amazing Radio.

The five-piece also put out a brooding cover of Marvin Gaye’s classic ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’ recorded in Elevator Studios for Bido Lito! Magazine. The band’s lo-fi, psych-tinged take on the track attracted over 6,000 plays in only a few weeks; its live performance becoming the talking point of reviews following the band’s set for Artrocker’s New Blood Festival in January.

Having spent the latter part of 2013 in the studio with Liverpool producer Al Groves (Elvis Costello, The Zutons), Etches are to release their debut single ‘The Charm Offensive’ on February 24 via Club.The.Mammoth.

Etches play London's Sebright Arms on February 20 for the launch show of the single; Over Sands support. Further live dates  have been announced this week in March and May.

March 14. The Kazimier, Liverpool
March 29. Threshold Festival, Liverpool
May 06. Gullivers, Manchester
May 08. Oakford Social, Reading
