[Video] The Afghan Whigs - Algiers



The American rock band The Afghan Whigs from Cincinnati , Ohio, who first formed in 1986 - before splitting in 2001, then reforming - have announced their first new album in 16 years.

'do to the beast' will be released worldwide via Sub Pop Records on April 14.

The Afghan Whigs will perform at the annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, CA on Friday April 11 & Friday April 18. On April 10 the band will headline an official Pre-Coachella show in Pioneertown, CA at Pappy & Harriet’s with Brody Dalle as special guest. The band is also set to play a small number of headline shows in April and May in North America including Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Brooklyn, Boston and Baltimore.
