Danish psych duo The Wands - Christian Skibdal and Mads Bredtoft Gräs - already gave an early taste of their sound with the trippy single ‘Hello I Know The Blow You Grow Is Magic’. Now the Copenhagen two unveil the four-minute lead single from their forthcoming debut full length, 'The Dawn' embellishes light and shade, and brings up a world all of its own via a 60s psychedelic vibe.
'The Dawn' is out this week on Levitation & Fuzz Club.
Joseph Coward releases 'Idle Boy', the first single from his debut album 'The World Famous Joseph Coward' album, on Stiffy Byng on July 21.
'Idle Boy' is out now. Stiffy Byng is the new label set up by Coward and Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs drummer Samir Eskanda.
"No more today/No room to breathe/My pale and idle body/Is betraying me", he opines on its opening chords. Whilst it may all sound a little hopeless, Coward has been garnering a firm following over the last few years with a succession of ascerbic outpourings, and this looks set to keep him going.
The Wands play London's Shacklewell Arms tonight (April 12).
They also join Joseph Coward to play a Free Entry show tomorrow night (April 13) at Birthdays in London.
