The Little Deaths are an indie psych/pop four-piece from Birmingham. All aged between 19 - 21, their formation began when vocalist Cameron MacInnes and guitarist Dave Hickman got together and started writing songs a couple of years ago while both at university. Arriving back in Birmingham last summer armed with a collection of songs, they roped in a bass player and drummer and set about gigging and spending time in the studio.
And they haven't done too badly so far. Firstly uploading four tracks to Soundcloud and a series of videos to YouTube - check out one of which, 'Boney Fingers', below - and garnering radio airplay via BBC WM and Amazing Radio.
Planning an EP release in a few months time, they have revealed a taste of that with new track just uploaded, 'Daydreamer'. It's a big roller of a track that comes in strong after the laid-back guitar opening, to revolve around high octave vocals and a psychy layer of dreaminess that gears up on some nicely punctuated guitar riffs.
