Electronic artist Will Wiesenfeld, better known as Baths, has already unveiled a couple of tracks, including 'Fade White' below from his EP, 'Ocean Death' which is out today (May 6) thru Anticon.
Check out the smooth falsetto vocal over an ambient four minutes of strings, guitars and drum beats.
The follow-up to last year's 'Obsidian', 'Ocean Death' is darker in tone, with the five track work's lyrics simple, yet bleak, but the effect is celestial. Part recorded in a hotel room in Spain, part recorded at a friend’s home in LA - the same place where 'Obsidian' was completed - both records traverse similar terrain: morbid lyricism, direct vocal melodies, raw emotions; guitars scraped and processed; vocals clipped and layered.
