Native Birds are a London four-piece who hail from Crouch End and have just released their new single, 'Five Lanes Of Traffic', a bright and breezy pop affair.
Playing alternative indie rock, and describing their influences as Arcade Fire, Blur and Tears for Fears, they kick into touch some nice guitar work. Other than that, and the fact that vocalist Dexter Bush declares that he "would run through five lanes of traffic/just to get to your room", Native Birds are still largely an unknown quantity. But they play Surya, London tomorrow (June 19) so maybe worth a look/hear.
