One To Watch :: Automatic Writing
Synth pop brothers, Londoners Neave and Jamie Merrick are about to release their third offering later this month, 'Nostalgia For The Future'.
With a sound described as being like "Wild Beasts and Crystal Castles soundtracking a David Lynch film", the pair's new single is an ethereal slice of existential disco and both song and video were recorded in an underground bunker in Brentwood, Essex.
This isn't the first time they've recorded in weird locations. Inspired by David Byrne's concept that your surrounding's can influence your work, their debut AA side single 'Falling'/'Continuous' was recorded in a lighthouse on the Isle Of Wight.
'Nostalgia For The Future' is out on June 30 with exclusive B-sides and remixes.
