Since they first started to create ripples outside of their Birmingham habitat at the end of 2012, the Superfood foursome have spent most of the first quarter of this year on the road with the likes of Wolf Alice and We Are Scientists.
Still managing to fit time in the studio, the band have announced a new single release - 'Right On Satellite'. Following the widespread praise for their debut 'MAM' EP, 'Right On Satellite' remains close to the frenetic charm and melody of those early recordings but takes on a more mature alt-pop edge.
The influence of prime, early Blur remains heady in the mix, but Superfood boast a sound quickly becoming distinctly their own, driving and weaving guitars around Dom Ganderton’s vocal.
In celebration of 'Right On Satellite’s release, the band are hosting a series of four intimate London live dates to coincide. These shows at The KPH, The Social, Old Blue Last and The Black Heart in July and August slot into an already hectic summer of UK and European festival performances.
