The Strokes returned to playing live last night (May 31) when they performed at the 1,800 capacity Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. This was the first time in almost three years they had got on stage together, the last time being November 2011.
The date was a warm-up for their headliner at the Governors Ball festival on Randall's Island in New York City, which takes place between June 6-8.
In the first show since the release of 'Comedown Machine' last year, they played an 18 song set, including 'Welcome to Japan', 'One Way Trigger' and 'Happy Ending' from the last album.
