Brooklyn pop-punkers churn out some weighty riffs, with the odd squealing guitar here and there, which would make them a different band completely if it weren't for the vocals of Anika Pyle adding another complexion to proceedings.
Following their self-titled debut EP of last year, the band now release their fast and catchy new EP, 'That's The Thing Is Like...' today (September 9) thru Anchorless.
The first two tracks, recent single 'Hot 97 Summer Jam' and 'Doubt' draw you in on their short DIY pop punk, but it is closer 'Vices' that comes as the surprise; a track which is no more than Anika and an acoustic guitar - a somewhat incongruous, yet very effective, inclusion.
