Track Of The Day :: JacksonsWarehouse - Right Here, Right Now
Basildon-based JacksonsWarehouse are not newcomers. Originally formed a decade ago, they went on to make their debut release, 'Hotel By The Sea' with SX Records in 2006, receiving a respectable amount of airplay on XFM and Radio 1, and favourable reviews.
Since that time JacksonsWarehouse have written for other bands, have had sync experience with music supplied for Adario Strange's film 'NYU Suicides', and in 2012 released the album 'Homes Next To Houses'.
Now the five-piece are back with a new single, the six-minuter 'Right Here Right Now', which is out on October 13 as a digital download via iTunes, Spotify and other online stores. Although their previous work has traversed a range of genres from indie rock to grungy folk, they seem to have narrowed down their spec to jangly guitar melodies of Marc Barnacle and lead vocalist Stuart Brown - the latter also providing an engaging rawness on vocals - with a highlight midway guitar instrumental section.
