Tunbridge Wells four-piece Lectures - have just released their new single 'Talking In A Vacuum', following on from last year's debut EP 'Morning Come Quickly'.
The band - who produce all their material themselves and combine live instruments with processed sounds have in 'Talking In A Vacuum', a pretty epic little track, one that melds the vocals of Jacob Norris with an enigmatic build-up of electronica percussion and piano that comes in just over the halfway mark.
Rating: Wait for the three-minute point - it's where you start getting shivers down the spine and goosebump tingles. 8/10
Lectures play a headline show at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells on October 18 as part of the 'Local & Live' sessions.
