Having featured US high school teens Sea Ghost a few days ago, we now hop over the ocean to Australia to another group of youngsters still yet to reach their twenties: Càbãnå.
The trio, 18-year-old college students Avi and Nushi, and the 17-year-old prodigious talent that is Gab Strum - better known as Japanese Wallpaper (see our August One To Watch) have spent the year working on their debut EP and have just signed to Pilerats Records to release 'Done as Dinner', their first offering.
Rich synths and a vibrant beat meet in a five-minute swirling mesh of catchy rhythms and guitar. At times quite a complex and layered arrangement structure, all the more impressive given their tender ages.
