Featured in our New Sounds From Australia#4 back in August, 19-year-old Kristafor Farrenkothen, is a singer songwriter based in Sydney, who, as he describes on his Facebook page is "Just me and my guitar".
A student at the Australian Institute of Music where he is doing a Bachelor of Music degree (majoring in Audio Engineering), music has long been a driving force since starting to learn classical piano at the age of six.
Developing his love and passion for music, and in particular, the guitar, over the last 3 years, he has been uploading to Soundcloud some rather delicately simple songs that are enriched by his own engaging vocal. This latest, 'Moments' the focus is on his piano ability, which makes for the piece along with the haunting harmonies. It's less than two minutes in length, but you will want to hear it again once its ended.
