Tigercub Set Their Grungey Paws On 'Centrefold' / European Dates With Blood Red Shoes
When we first spotted and wrote about Brighton trio Tigercub early last year they were still a band-on-the-rise with a very tall band member and a cracking way with fuzz bass grunge rock.
Now, eighteen months later, they've just been on tour with Royal Blood, been named as Zane Lowe's "Next Hype" on Radio 1, and described as one of the best bands on the live circuit. To top that, Tigercub are about to make their own big claim for the rock throne with new single 'Centrefold', the very first release on Blood Red Shoes' new label Jazz Life.
Produced by Tom Dalgety (Band of Skulls, Royal Blood), and out on 7" vinyl and digital download on December 1, it's a ripped-and-torn piece of attitude grunge.
Tigercub will play Dingwalls, London tomorrow (November 1) as part of the Nightmare Festival, before they embark on European dates with Blood Red Shoes next week, as follows:
