The Thons (Graham, vocals/guitar; Greg, drums; Frank, bass) are a Chicago-based garage rock band who formed in 2012.
Since that time they have been pretty prolific when it comes to turning out product. They have released two eight-track, studio albums since August 2013 - with no mixing or editing and each recorded in the space of one afternoon - and a live performance album. Their self-released debut album 'Raw. Real. Rock.' was listed on WZRD 88.3FM’s list of “Top Unknown Albums of 2013” alongside Parquet Courts, Hoax and Off With Their Heads.
The Thons' fourth album 'Hot Fun' is set for digital release before the end of the year. Check out two of the album's tracks - 'Lose Control' and 'Looking Out, Looking In' - released in September as singles, below.
