Track Of The Day :: Dirt Dress - Revelations

We featured the LA post-punk group Dirt Dress with their lo-fi, surf-tinged guitar sounds, here last week with the 'Twelve Pictures' track from their upcoming EP 'Revelations'.

Now we add the glorious title track, with a video, directed by Ben Jeans Houghton and featuring Diva Dompe, formerly of indie pop band BlackBlack - listening to music on a cassette on a Walkman (now there's a novelty) as she wanders around the Los Angeles river.

The song captures a dreamy washed sound, that since the bringing in of Sasami Ashworth last year on synths has added extra resonance along with the meltingly melodic vocal.

'Revelations' is out on November 18 on Future Gods.
