Kid Trench first came to our notice a few months ago (see our feature here) with a glorious falsetto and 'I'll Be Waiting' was enough to win its place as our Track Of The Day.
The Kid makes that kind of heart-achingly seering music - largely due to his own high pitched vocal, it has to be said - that reeks of R&B soul and emotion beneath its electronic facade, and that you just want to play over and over. Think Northern Ireland's equivalent of James Vincent McMorrow vocally, but without the folk.
'The Bridge For Clearing Your Debts' - which is arguably his best work so far - is the latest from the Belfast producer/musician. And although he's still not giving much away about himself, we do know he is currently working on his debut EP - to be released next March - around which he will also be playing some live shows in both England and Ireland. Before that, keep your eyes on his Twitter feed for the airing date of a BBC session he has recently done, which should be going out in February.
