[Video] MAU - Safari Entrepreneur Part 1

'Safari Entrepreneur Part 1' is taken from the recently released 'Safari Entrepreneur' album by Lisbon-based outfit MAU.

Directed by Paul Storrie and Chris Lee and shot entirely in China, the video "reflects human alienation, emotional disconnection, like machines in line, seduced by the hypnotic call of progress."

The five-piece MAU started out as a group of friends from several European countries - Germany, Israel, France, Portugal  - who met while studying in Denmark in 2004. By 2010 they had released their third album 'Backseat Love Songs'.

2014 saw the release 'Safari Entrepreneur', which combined electronics with elements of African and Caribbean vibes, filtered and pitched vocals, all glued together into dark pop songs.
