Blur Announce First New Album In 12 Years - Hear Track 'Go Out'
Britpop pioneers Blur have announced that their first new album in 12 years , 'The Magic Whip', will be out on April 27.
What will be the follow-up to 2003's 'Think Tank', Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree gave the news at a press conference yesterday.

Albarn named 'Pyongyang' as being a favourite of his on the Stephen Street produced album. The song was written from lyrics he wrote while visiting North Korea. "I wrote loads and loads and this gave me an opportunity to use that material. I was nervous because I haven't sung anything with Stephen since 'Beetlebum'." Bassist Alex James said that the new songs "feel like the best stuff we've ever done".
