17-year-old south Londoner Rachel Keen - via Raye - released her debut track 'Need Me' and EP ‘Welcome To The Winter' last autumn when she was still just sixteen - enough to spark interest with both her maturity of sound and vocal skills. Wasting no time, Ms Keen returns with another slice of electro R&B.
With tight production from Fractures, ‘Flowers’ is the latest from this highly promising young artist, raised in a musical family and who has been writing her own music since the tender age of ten (along with playing instruments including cello, flute, piano, guitar). Her subtle take on electronic-infused R&B as she lays out lyrically, "flowers from myself/so why would I want them from you? is both engaging and warmly addictive listening.
