First Listen : Swedish Newcomer Anton Ego Asks 'Will It Ever End?'
'Will It Ever End?' is the name of the debut single from young Swede Anton Ego - not our feelings on hearing it.
Released March 24, it's a quirky, catchy little pop number, much like the artist, whom we have reason to believe is known by some as 21-year-old Anton Tuvesson.
He formed this solo project last year, immediately gaining attention with the two songs he first uploaded n YouTube. Inspired by bands such as The Vaccines and The Clash, but with his own 60s surf vibe added on top, he recorded 'Will It Ever End?' at Svenska Grammofonstudion in Gothenburg.
The song is about "that icky feeling when you can't get what you want no matter what you do". We're not sure what kind of 'icky' this may be, but the track is given a red 'Explicit' warning on iTunes.
And should you be just passing by Malmo in Sweden tomorrow (March 26) night, Anton and the band play at Babel. Check their Facebook for further upcoming dates in Gothenburg and Stockholm.
