Our powers of outing bands who want to keep it all, in the words of Björk, "oh so quiet" about who they are, continues unabated - and even the PRs are catching up to us now.
When we were first presented with Frankfurt duo Lea Porcelain - Markus Nikolaus, vocals/guitar, and Julien Bracht - early last month, there was no information forthcoming about who they were. Our intrepid Little Indie sleuths were the first to say who they actually were - see here - and now, with the unveiling of the video to 'Similar Familiar', it seems they have given the official clearance. Well, that's good as we don't have time for mysteries, and this is actually a very good first offering. Dark, clean and sharp beats and a piercing enough vocal to take it out of the run-of-the-mill electronic genre.
As we also exclusively revealed here, Lea Porcelain will make their London live debut on March 12 when they play a free entry show at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington.
