Track Of The Day :: Stillhound - Seethe Unseen

Out on April 25, the debut track 'Seethe Unseen' from new Scottish four-piece Stillhound.

That they hail from Edinburgh and not from one of the American states, is the first surprise, although since schooldays Fergus Cook, Laurie Corlett-Donald and Dave Lloyd - and latest addition Cat Myers - have been ensconced in mountain hideaways in their native Scotland developing their sound, which may account for the spacious, atmospheric feel.

Blending pop with glistening and emotive electronica, Cook's smooth and evocative vocal weave in and out of digital textures and sounds are accompanied by a driving beat and percussion that give buoyancy to the darker elements.
