STRANGE NAMES - NEIGHBORHOOD
Brooklyn via Minneapolis pop trio pop out another track from 'Use Your Time Wisely', released on May 19. Filled with ’80s dance vibes, layers of synths and a beat that you won't be able to sit still to.
VICKTOR TAIWÒ - FADE
Following the unveiling of 'Feathers & Wax' last month (see here), the London-based synth/soul/RnB artist releases another track from his debut EP 'Juno', out on June 16.
AVEC SANS - RESONATE
Alice Fox and Jack St James who hail from Manchester and Trinidad respectively - with new single released this week of shimmering indie electro pop.
FIELD HARMONICS - GIRLS
Propulsive synth pop single from Birmingham duo (18-year-old multi-instrumentalist Bryony Williams and musician/producer Rob Glover) with first output since their 2013 album 'Walls', out May 18. They hold a special launch show and video screening in Birmingham at Centrala tonight (May 15).
ORPHAN BOY - FROM THE PROVINCES
Out June 22, the second single taken from the pop rockin Cleethorpes quartet's third album 'Coastal Tones' which is released on May 25 via Concrete Recordings. Catch them live at Café INDIEpendent on Scunthorpe on May 30.
OSCAR - BEAUTIFUL WORDS
Morrissey vocal vibes and big orchestrals via Londoner Oscar Scheller on this title track and lead single from his upcoming EP, out June 22 via Wichita.
TRUDY - ALL MY LOVE
Falsettos and guitar pop notes afloat in this debut, produced by Spring King's Tarek Musa, by the (all-male, despite the name) trio from Leeds, but shortly to be Liverpool-based.
PUBLIC ACCESS T.V. - ALL WE WANT
The Brooklyn rockers show another side to their sound with this mid-tempo smoothy, from their debut EP, 'Public Access', out digitally on May 12 and physically on June 16 via Terrible Records.
THE BLOOM - HOW IT STARTS
Pop-Americana single released this week, from the new East London four-piece indie rock band, formed in 2014 by Australian singer/guitarist Luke Kordyl after moving to the UK.
LAST DINOSAURS - EVIE
Bright, breezy summer vibes from the Brisbane quartet - their first output since 2012's 'In A Million Years' album - with word of their second full-length imminent this year. On tour in Oz this summer, including playing Splendour In The Grass.
