New Single & Live Dates Announced For Hooton Tennis Club

Named after an actual tennis club, the musical Liverpool four-piece Hooton Tennis Club have announced details of their second single for Heavenly Recordings.

'Kathleen Sat On The Arm Of Her Favourite Chair' will be released on June 29, and is taken from their forthcoming debut album. Recorded and produced at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool by Bill Ryder Jones, 'Kathleen Sat On The Arm Of Her Favourite Chair' picks up where their debut single 'Jasper' left off, with sun-soaked, effortlessly off kilter, wonky pop.

The band have announced a run of dates in the summer with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, as well as a number of UK festivals over the summer. Full list below.

Prior to these, they play two shows at The Great Escape in Brighton this weekend: Friday 15, 9.30pm at Shoosh, and Saturday 16, 8pm at The Joker.
