WORRIERS - THEY/THEM/THEIRS

FOGGY CITY ORPHAN - BINARY
New Glaswegian quartet (which includes two brothers, Martin and John McLinden, and a third McLinden, cousin Paul, a violinist and film composer with some pedigree) with lead track - a nicely building, with some well-crafted math rock interludes - from their debut EP, 'FCO', released on August 1.
THE GLASS CHILDREN - WRAPPED IN GOLD
The dark London electronic duo (David Fairweather, synths/vocals; Daniella Kleovoulou, vocals) with second track of 80s synth sounds from their debut EP, 'Undone', out later this year.
DRY LUNCH CLUB - ETON
From the 'Change The World' EP, released this week, by the politically charged London post punks, who we first featured here last September.
MASAKICHI - SPRING
Fuzzed up London indie rock-gazers fronted by Hannah Cartwright (Snow Ghosts) who calls this first taste from their debut mini album 'Hummingbird' (out September 18 via Fierce Panda) "a rallying cry. It is ment to give hope because no matter what life throws at you, or how hard it gets, you will still always have the capacity to love."
CRUSOE - ATOMIC DOVE
Nashville electro production trio (which includes drum sampler Dustin Burnett) working a smooth dance/soul vibe into pads and synths on this debut outing.
THE BRITANYS - IT'S WHAT IT IS
Propulsive new single with their trademark catchy hooks in a bed of grit and distortion, from the Brooklyn garage noise trio, released last week via Lolipop Records.
MEN I TRUST - BREAK FOR LOVERS (ft. HELENA)
A smooth electro pop jam from the Canadian five-piece (which includes Dragos Chiriac of Ghostly Kisses) from Quebec City, from the full-length out June 30.
INFINITY GIRL - FIREHEAD
Brooding, guitar-gaze lead single from the ex-Bostonian, now Brooklyn-based, four-piece's second album 'Harm', out August 28 via Topshelf Records.
CLEAN CUT KID - VITAMIN C
Young four-piece Liverpudlian outfit trading their wares with debut single, out on July 24 via own Babe Magnet label (Polydor). A three-minute art-pop ride, with big chorus and catchy groove. Catch live at the Red Gallery, London on July 30.
