Listen :: Field Studies - Money Of America
Words: Ellie Ward
New out of Nottingham come rising alt-rock four-piece Field Studies, with their new single ‘Money Of America’ out on June 22 on Denizen Recordings.
After putting out their debut EP 'Celestial' at the end of 2013, the band (who take their name from an EP This Will Destroy You) have been steadily building up their fanbase via their textured, melodic indie pop sound, and supporting such names as Girl Band.
The forthcoming release ‘Money of America’, the follow-up to recent double A-side single 'Blomst'/'Hibernate', is a builder of a song, tempered with a burning angst, that fires up like a purring motor as it travels along to crash out on a big anthemic finale. Should go down a treat at Glastonbury.
