[Video] All We Are - Honey
Taken from Liverpool-based All We Are's self-titled debut album, released earlier this year, 'Honey', is full of funk pop sweetness and harmonies, yet director Stephen Agnew’s video turns the tables with unnerving visuals.
The track, released as a single on July 17 through Double Six Records, is the fourth from the trio - Richard O’Flynn (drums, vocals), Guro Gikling (bass, vocals), Luis Santos (guitar, vocals), who originally met at university in Liverpool - and produced by Dan Carey.
The band describe the video as: "[telling] the story of a ghost observing the life of its former lover. The Lynchian world of the ‘Honey’ video has a macabre and hellish feel that's tense and unsure and gives a feel for the purgatory like existence the ghost is living."
The band embark on a summer of festivals in the UK and Europe, before their headlining London date at Scala in October.
