Vancouver trio Gang Signs have unveiled the first track from their upcoming debut full-length 'Geist', set to drop in October - and a bit good it is too.
'Mate' slowly builds up from its sampled hand claps and brooding drum beats opening to introduce subtle and darkly mesmerising guitar lines and vocal interplay between Peter Ricq (also with electronic music duo HUMANS) and Matea Sarenac that draws you into its classy and cinematic essence.
Gang Signs play The Wise Hall & Lounge, Vancouver on August 22 with Fucked Up and Doomsquad. Further North American dates to be announced.
'Geist' is released on October 2 via File Under: Music.
