One To Watch :: Peace and Love Barbershop Muhammed Ali

Words: Ellie Ward

If ever there was a band with a mouthful of a name, Peace and Love Barbershop Muhammed Ali must surely rank near the top. Fortunately, the Manchester four-piece stomp-proto-punk rockers abbreviate themselves to a more manageable PALBMA.

Mark Vernon's (ex-Brown Brogues) latest collective released their 'Split 3 - PALBMA/Druggy Pizza' album last month on Stolen Body Records, their glam-garage style has also been impressing those who have caught their live show. Check out the impressive 'Mean Like A Snake', one of PALBMA's six-track contributions - which also formed their debut EP, 'Peace and Love', which was digitally released on December 17.
