Made in Newcastle upon Tyne, but now split between London where one half of the post-punk Reykjavik Kids', Scott Munro, resides, and the still North East-based Paul Tissington, the pair are readying their new single 'Moneymaker' for release on March 18.
The duo employ a DIY ethic and a love of retro synths, old computers and reconditioned guitars in which to culture sounds like their eponymous debut single of last year, and their latest offering of edgy indie/dance/punk with a dark sense of urgency.
Reykjavik Kids play two London shows next month: Camden's Black Heart on March 3, followed by The Lexington on March 26.
