You may not have heard of them yet, but the first single released last week from the five Philadelphia/Washington D.C , ex-Penn State University, friends collectively known as Queue, makes for an impressive debut.
Taken from the alt-rock-dreampop band’s forthcoming EP, and produced by Ben Rice at Brooklyn’s Degraw Sound, studio, 'Falling Into Skies' is a gorgeous sonic palette of Olivia Price's soaring and engaging vocal (shades of Ellen Tonra, Channy Leaneagh and Ellie Rowsell) over a hypnotically rhythmic bassline groove and beatific drumbeats, all wrapped in an crystalline production coating. Not only will you want to play 'Falling Into Skies' more than once, but you'll be eagerly anticipating more from the Queue line.
