Track Of The Day :: Silences - There’s A Wolf
Words: Sam Geary
Northern Ireland's Silences return with a knockout track, ‘There’s A Wolf’, lifted from the Armagh alt-folk five-piece's new EP ‘Luna’, third EP, ‘Luna’, co-produced by Tommy McLaughlin (SOAK/Villagers) and Declan Legge (SOAK/Ciaran Lavery), and which is released in April 15.
Conchúr White, who is the man behind what was originally a solo project and has just been performing this last week at SXSW, conjures up something that moves from folk to alt-rock on ‘There’s A Wolf’ as it progresses, with guitar and keyboards added to the electronic mix.
Silences are on tour next month, kicking off with their first headline show on April 15.
