From David Bowie's final album, 'Blackstar', to grime artists Kano and Skepta, and Radiohead receiving a record fifth nomination, these are amongst the shortlisted albums for the 25th annual Mercury Prize.
Other artists nominated for the £25,000 prize include The 1975 and Michael Kiwanuka, who follows up his 2012 nomination, and former Mercury Prize-winner Antony and the Johnsons, now known as Anohni.

For the first time, an online vote will enable music fans to select the first of six 2016 finalists from the 12 ‘Albums of the Year’. This opens at midday today, August 4. Click here to vote for your favourite.
The shortlist, five remaining finalists and overall winner will all be chosen by the Hyundai Mercury Prize Judging Panel, and all six finalists and the overall winner will be announced as part of the 2016 Awards Show, which will take place on Thursday September 15 at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, London.
This year's nominees were decided by:
Musician Jessie Ware, Jeff Smith Head of Music at 6 Music and Radio 2, broadcaster Clara Amfo, Phil Alexander Editor-in-Chief, Kerrang!, Mojo and Q, Harriet Gibsone Music News Editor at The Guardian, Will Hodgkinson Chief Rock and Pop Critic at The Times, former Mercury Prize winner Jarvis Cocker, musicians Kate Tempest and Jamie Cullum, Ellie Rowsell from Wolf Alice, producer Naughty Boy and broadcaster Annie Mac.
