Words: Sam Geary
Never an easy listen, and on new track 'Ghost Tape #10', Crows delve even deeper into dark intensity.
After the London-based quartet's debut EP ‘Unwelcome Light’ earlier this year, this latest comes in advance of a second for this year - ‘Cold Comfort’, which is released tomorrow (November 18).
‘Ghost Tape #10’’s title reeks of lurking unrest, and not least that it was inspired by a recording used during the Vietnam War by the US as a tool of psychological warfare:
“I’m a dead man’s soul breathing heavily / I’m a dead man’s soul, please don’t forget me." Don't have nightmares now.
