Words: Linn Branson
A dark and penetrating groove of some depth, despite its minimalist texture, 'Blood' is the debut single from Dublin songstress Constance Keane, also of post-punk, feminist quartet, M(h)aol.
Released last Friday (November 25), 'Blood' was self-recorded and self-produced - "in my bedroom" - by Constance, and mastered by Huntley Miller (Bon Iver, Polica, Lizzo).
'Blood' runs through a sparse vein of synths, percussion and hardly-there ghostly vocals that drift in and out like a light breeze.
Fears plays live at Studio 11, Belfast on December 2 with Gross Net and Autumns.
