‘Coast’ is the new dreamy atmospheric single from Glasgow-based art-rock five-piece Acrylic.
Following last year's 'Overrun' and 'Awake', this latest track - streaming now online and officially released through the independent student run label Little Tiger on March 3 - opens with a lonely echoed guitar line and vocal harmonies before the arrival of the bass and drums which burst the song into life and pick it up a gear. There’s identifiably a Foals-esque feel throughout the song, creating a memorable and chilling atmosphere with its haunting guitar lines and progressively thumping drum beat.
The single was produced by Paul Savage at Chem19 Studios, Blantyre and mastered by Guy Davie at Electric Mastering in London.
