Listen :: Fickle Friends - ‘Hello Hello’

Words: Jane Davies

Brighton's Fickle Friends have been pretty busy picking up fans - over 15 million streams on Spotify and counting - and their just released new single, ‘Hello Hello’, which premiered recently on Huw Stephens' Radio One show, looks like adding some more numbers on with its glittering pop style and infectious vibe.

Produced by Mike Crossey (Foals, The 1975), ‘Hello Hello’ will also appear on the band's forthcoming full-length to be released later this year.

"'Hello Hello' was one of the first songs we wrote this time last year during our trip to LA," recalls frontwoman Natti Shiner. "The track came about in the home studio we'd put together in an Airbnb and it was one of those sessions where a song comes together super quickly, it just flowed. It's about sticking with someone who's lost sight of who they are and what they're worth."

Ahead of making their US live debut this summer, they are scheduled to play the Reading and Leeds Festivals as well as the NME Student Tour and a stint as support for a full UK/Euro tour for PVRIS.
